While fans of Grey's Anatomy could be forgiven for believing medical school is a full-time job, Sam found time to begin his DeFi and fintech journey while completing his Masters of Medicine, and became fully certified in a number of different blockchain-related fields.

And somewhere along the way, Sam managed to acquire a grounding in business economics!

This unusual background combining care for others, a fascination with technology, plus hard-headed business sense have brought Sam success both as an educator and an entrepreneur.

His crowning glory isn't found in the annals of medical journals but in the resurrection of a once-dying Private Career College. Through two years of relentless toil, Sam breathed life into this failing business, transforming it into a thriving health care academy with 11 robust programs, now valued in the seven figures —a testament to his hard work and zeal for success.

Among his many successes, he built and sold the largest football equipment distributorship in the State of Texas that at one time did over $10, 000,000 in annual revenue, employed over 20 people and protected over 10,000 athletes in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Kansas.

He has helped over 100 people to get started in decentralized finance through Decentralized Masters.

Troy is firmly convinced that decentralized banking and finance is the future.

Bryan has been in business for many years, helping multiple companies to scale to 7 figures and beyond.

One of his biggest accomplishments was turning around a failing company in under 90 days, growing it into an award-winning business in its industry.

Bryan has long experience of crypto, and was an early adopter. He helped another crypto company to develop 3.5 million in monthly revenue, and is himself heavily invested in multiple crypto and DeFi projects.

One of his proudest moments within Decentralized Masters was helping a client whose dream was to retire early. By getting her started in DeFi, she was able to attain that dream much, much sooner than expected, and finally exit the corporate world. She now is a full-time DeFi investor.

Dziugas has been an educator and entrepreneur in the DeFi space for some years now.

While still an undergraduate, he designed and taught a Masters-level course on blockchain technology which is now part of the university’s curriculum.

After several roles in various Web2 and Web3 companies, Dziugas went on to found his own Web3 startup, raising $2 million dollars in the process. The company created a mobile app that allowed customers easy access to DeFi without needing to understand how blockchain or wallets work.

To date, his most important contribution to Decentralized Masters has been to create our advanced crypto trading mastermind, dubbed The Strategy Room.

Rob got his start in crypto in 2013 mining dogecoin on his laptop while at Portland State University .

This naturally led to a graduate degree in blockchain and business, culminating in his selection for a prestigious Fellowship with the Global Blockchain Business Council.

From 2014 to 2017, he volunteered to help develop a small altcoin, ultimately growing the value of the coin fifty-fold.

Since then he has been advising a startup working on a blockchain solution to proof of provenance for digital audio files.

He's also an active user of DeFi, and has already granted himself the power to "be his own bank"- a power we at Decentralized Masters want for everyone.

And when he's not banking on the blockchain, Rob is a gifted musician who has produced five albums of his own music- and plays Irish Traditional Flute in a pub band in Portland, Oregon.

Rob is totally committed to DeFi, and sees it as the only future for finance and banking: "The level of efficiency DeFi brings to existing financial services is so extraordinary that it is inevitable that the Invisible Hand will move more activity to the ecosystem."

Rami is passionate about customer-focused solutions to difficult problems.

And he first brought that passion to the pharma industry. There he used his expertise in business architecture to create  industry-first AI to streamline operations for Pfizer, Roche and AbbVie.

But he's also passionate about crypto- and has dreamed of teaching and mentoring others in this new technology since the very first day he learned of it.

And that is why he created a non-profit solely focused on teaching crypto for free.

Preston is an entrepreneur and early mentor, builder and investor within Crypto and DeFi for over 7 years.

Preston's earliest start in Crypto was mining Bitcoin out of his closet whilst in high school in 2012. Initially, Preston was amazed by blockchain technology, and the idea that it gave humans a chance to interact with finance in a way not previously available. Preston enjoyed his time exploring Bitcoin and all things blockchain, but in 2015 however, Preston enlisted in the US Army as an Intelligence Analyst.

Preston would go on to spend ~7 years in active duty military, achieving the distinguished rank of Staff Sergeant (E-6) before being honorably discharged a decorated combat veteran in 2022. Whilst on his final tour to Kandahar, Afghanistan in 2019, Preston was assigned to a 12-man group; Team 3223 of the 3rd SFAB unit. On this deployment, Preston helped design, mentor and integrate the first ever Bitcoin and Blockchain Infrastructure into Afghan National Army and Kandahar Police standard operating procedures.

After returning stateside to his wife and newborn son in 2020, Preston went on to launch a Veteran-exclusive Crypto and Financial Education Company - Ares Investing LLC. Similar to the Decentralized Masters vision, Preston was demystifying and democratizing access to Crypto and DeFi Intelligence, but for historically underserved communities within the US Military.

At Saidler, Preston was directly in charge of leading research efforts within digital assets, to help the portfolio manager make investment decisions within Crypto. The portfolio had an outstanding return of over 47% during Preston's tenure, and would go on to publish weekly research articles that would help retail traders make educated investments within digital assets. After 7 months, Preston left Saidler to help build Crypto Indices at CoinDesk.

At CoinDesk, Preston served as the Lead Crypto Index Analyst, and helped build novel Crypto Indices. Preston led a small team of researchers and data engineers to build an AI-led data pipeline, ultimately powering data point ingestion and analysis that now powers the world's largest Crypto Index Products valued at over $50M. In 2023, Preston would part ways with CoinDesk to pursue his own Fund: the Eckhardt Capital QuanTactical Fund.

His journey in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space began with foundational experiences in his father's early Bitcoin mining endeavours, which fuelled his passion for the potential of blockchain technology. Rafaela has worn many hats during her career, but all of them reflect her love of teaching and communicating.

A former teacher, she also possesses legal expertise with a specialty in intellectual property, and has helped dozens of trademark and patent owners to protect their intellectual property.

Rafaela is a dedicated community volunteer in her home country of Brazil. 

Her role within Decentralized Masters has included ensuring that our customers not only receive value, but also feel valued.

As for DeFi and the future of money, Rafaela says: "Currencies have been changing since the beginning of time, and most recently we are transitioning from physical to digital money. A native of Canada, Travis has been involved in finance from the beginning of his career. 

After joining a small fintech startup, Travis helped capture some 40% of the company’s target market, and began penetrating the US market.

And while he enjoyed this period of his life, he came to the conclusion that, with high costs and low ROI, traditional finance does not always serve the best interests of the common man or woman. 

But since coming to Decentralized Masters, he’s on a mission to show ordinary people how to get extraordinary financial results.

He has helped many new investors to get their start in decentralized finance, and has compared it to "offering gold bars to people".

Melissa has been an entrepreneur since she was a child helping her father run the family business.

A seasoned athlete and native of the United Kingdom, Ayman has had the very great honor of playing basketball for his country.
